Celebrating new vision, new songs, and God’s blessings
Worship! Join David & Nicole Binion as they celebrate God’s goodness at Dwell Dallas live from VLife Church in McKinney, TX. They will also be introducing a couple of new songs that will be on their new album to be recorded soon.

Dwell Dallas was nothing short of amazing this past Friday night! Friends new and old gathered from near and far to help us celebrate the goodness of God. And hundreds more joined us via Facebook Live.
You may recall at our January Dwell David was in sunglasses because he was battling a corneal ulcer that was causing severe pain and vision loss in his left eye. We believed God for a miracle, and in this instance our miracle came through the hands of a skilled surgeon who performed a cornea transplant on January 25. Due to the surgery we had to cancel Dwell Dallas for February and our first-ever Dwell Nashville event.
But God is faithful! David is on the road to complete healing. Friday’s Dwell Dallas was a celebration of Vision — not just David’s physical vision, but vision for the future of Dwell.
You can hear his whole testimony in word and song starting at 19:05 but David said this of his transplant:
Somebody died and donated their body parts. So they harvested someone else’s eye. Someone that was dead. And now that cornea is living again right here, giving me resurrected vision.
New songs being born
Following his surgery David wrote a song tentatively titled My Soul Follows. Friday night was only the second time it had been sung in a service, and both times God’s presence rested on it in such a beautiful way. You can hear it starting at 34:11 in the video above. Also, you can expect to hear it on the new album David & Nicole will be recording late this spring!
We learned another new song, Hunger, written by Gracie Binion with Mitch Wong (of Planetshakers). You can listen to it starting at 52:44 in the video but this is what Nicole said about the song.
When I first heard Gracie’s song this week it immediately reminded me, had the same essence to me, of this song (Breathe) that we were singing 20 years ago. And I think it’s so amazing how, you know, now there’s another generation crying out with a hunger deep inside wanting more of the Lord.
The future of Dwell worship nights
At 1:12:35 David prophesied about the future of Dwell Worship Nights.
I fully expect our Dwell worship nights to be — the reputation is — that you gotta go! If you’re terminally ill you gotta go. Here’s what I want to prophesy…because the terminally ill go in and come out different. I believe people will come in with blindness and they won’t have to have surgery. Healing will come and their eyes will open. Deaf ears will open.
Give with a prophetic purpose
Pastor Mike Connaway of VLife Church, our host in McKinney, TX, gave a powerful word on giving. You can hear the whole message starting at 1:14:53 but here’s a taste.
“So here is Adam and here’s Eve. And God gave them the liberty to do this. To take from all these different trees and they’re just taking, and they’re just taking, and we don’t know for how long. But day after day after day they’re…they’re just takers. And it was OK. God told them “You can take any of this stuff. This is all yours, except for this one.”
And they just kept taking, and they kept taking, and they kept taking, and they kept taking…and then they kept taking, and then pretty soon they became takers. And takers can walk right up to a tree that they were told not to take…and take.
And then we know the story. It’s not a complicated story. God is merciful. He forgave ’em. They get kicked out of the garden. And now they’re living a life really under a curse and under this weird thing called death that they were not created to live under.
But some of you feel that way. The death of a vision. And feeling too old or too young. Or man, listen in this world right now, how many of you…and be honest…have been betrayed? I mean where you just go “How could…?”
And the first doctrine ever taught post garden — Genesis chapter 4 — is giving. Because it’s the only thing that can reverse the curse of being a taker.
It was a great night and we’re looking forward to a special Good Friday Dwell when we remember the price that was paid to free us forever! We’ll be serving communion. It’s sure to be a packed house so RSVP today so we can make sure we have room for you!
